The truest happiness comes when we live as Jesus would have us live

This week has been a bit slow, a lot of appointments falling through, but its all good.  I have a new zeal for the work that has come, oddly enough, from studying obedience. Whenever people bring up obedience or diligence I usually shut off, thinking they are the driest things to learn about.  But I was thinking about both the temple and about sacrifice, which was our lesson on Sunday, and how being obedient and diligent is how to get exactly what I want - happiness.  I know that the truest happiness comes when we live as Jesus would have us live. This is because when we keep the commandments we have the Holy Ghost with us so we are always at peace with our lives. Being at peace and having the Holy Ghost guide us will help us achieve the things we want, like happiness in the home, in relationships, success at work, etc.  Anyways, that's my thought for the day.

Elder Hall is the man.  He is so cool!  I hope I will finally keep a companion more than one transfer, but my expectations of this are very low.  Our investigators are doing great!  We should have a few baptisms coming up on the 26th of July.  There are five people set to be baptized then.

I love you all so much!  I am excited to see you all soon-ish.  Ha ha - sooner than it feels like, looking forward.  It is cool to think that this time last year, I was a greenie in Nipomo in Angie's ward.  Weird.

I love you all,
Elder Jamison
